Ready to Join Patrol?
All mountains have a slightly different process. Reach out to their patrol either by visiting during the winter months or calling the mountain and asking to talk to the Patrol Director. Mountains offer volunteer and/or paid positions.
What Does Patrol Offer?
Joining ski patrol offers a unique opportunity to combine a passion for skiing with meaningful service. Patrollers play a critical role in mountain safety, providing first aid, emergency response, and public education. It’s a chance to develop valuable skills in outdoor leadership, rescue techniques, and teamwork while working in a dynamic alpine environment. Beyond the training, ski patrol builds strong camaraderie and a sense of purpose within a dedicated community. Whether you’re looking to give back, challenge yourself, or deepen your connection to the sport, ski patrol delivers an experience that is both rewarding and impactful.
